Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, personnel administration, human resources management,
labor relations or a closely related field and three years of professional, progressively responsible work
experience in personnel administration or labor relations; or any equivalent combination of related
training and experience. Successful completion of criminal history background investigation is required
prior to employment. Applicants within six months of meeting the education/experience requirement
may be considered for trainee status. Collective bargaining, union negotiations, PERC rulings,
arbitration, grievance procedures, and administrative disciplinary process experience in local
government desirable.
